NML's partnership with the University of Strathclyde
Our Centre for Advanced Measurement Research and Health Translation (CAMRHT) at the University of Strathclyde is focused on health, bringing together stakeholder groups including the NHS and local businesses. The Centre aims to enhance productivity and strengthen Scotland’s health and life sciences innovation ecosystem.
Launched in 2019 and located at the heart of the Glasgow City Innovation District, the Centre integrates our expertise in the field of measurement science with the cutting-edge health and life science expertise within the University of Strathclyde.
Through the Centre we facilitate interdisciplinary joint applied measurement research and innovation to support industry, improve reliability and safety. This enables Scotland and UK industry to realise the value of measurement science, increasing productivity and growth.
Led by the LGC Chair in Measurements for Health, Professor Damion Corrigan, the Centre regularly co-invests in academic and research positions. Our NML Academic-in-Residence, Dr Zahra Rattray, NML Academic in Residence is based at the Centre at Strathclyde.
